Divine Duo: Femininity and the Left Hand Path

“Femininity is depicted as weakness, the sapping of strength, yet masculinity is so fragile that apparently even the slightest brush with the feminine destroys it.”

Gwen Sharp

This is one of those posts where I know no matter how I word this, or how many disclaimers I put in here along the way, it’s going to cause waves; people are going to be offended, take it wrong, and some will be left feeling uncomfortable. As I said just last week, I would not be who I am or true to myself if I did not make you, my readership, uncomfortable.

This topic has been floating around in my head since I started NR but I never knew how to word it, I never knew how to say this without coming off as one of those new age, man hating, Feminists.

I am a Feminist but I do not hate Men. I do not have to put down an entire gender to make my own look better; I do not have to hate on ALL Men to attempt and heal the wounds inflicted on me by one, or a few. That is totally not how healing happens; you cannot heal through hate.

Anyways, let me just get to the point of this post and I am going to be as blunt as I can:

It’s fucking hard being a Woman on the Left Hand Path.

Before reacting to my above statement, let me explain it first.

I post things to the page that resonate with me and what I am going through at the time. Since I am a Woman, and am starting to embrace my Feminine side after turning my back on her a few years ago because of my cancer, I post about the Divine Feminine, Sacred Sex, and Female Empowerment.

When my physical womb was removed, it felt like I lost my womb power and everything that made me a Woman; it has been a long, painful journey to realize that my womb power, that womb wisdom, is rooted in my Soul—no matter what happens to this physical shell.

I also post about these topics because this world is seriously lacking some Sisterhood.

What these posts have done, is they have brought out misogynists in droves.

I have had post after post trolled and I have been personally attacked because an article represented the Feminine without mention of the Masculine. It got to the point where I finally just started deleting and banning people without even bothering to engage; you just can’t reason with hate.

Why does my Femininity bother them so much? Why does my voice, my opinion and my fearlessness to speak my truth make them react so violently, so aggressively?

What is it about a Woman standing in her power that makes Men scared? (OBVIOUSLY, I am not talking about all Men; I am referring to the ones who troll the posts, etc. It’s sad that this must be said for clarification purposes; everyone is triggered by something these days. Shout out to the Awakened Masculine, btw.)

What kills me is some of the Men who troll have been following me for quite some time, and are not asleep in the consciousness department; they are not stupid by any means, either. Yet, they feel the need to constantly talk about “You need balance. You need balance. You need balance.” Blah. Blah. Blah.

You’re right, I do need balance!

What I don’t need to find that balance is a Man.

*GASP*

Did she just say that…?!?!

I did.

And, it’s true.

The Masculine lives inside of me, as the Feminine lives inside of them. Having a Man is about having a life partner, and (if it’s your thing) having someone to start a family with.

Please believe that balance can be found by the individual without “needing” anybody else.

I continue to get hit with, “Where are the Men posts?” and usually my reply is, “When I see posts about the Divine Masculine, I share them.”

But, when it happened two days ago, and I was hit with “you’re not understanding what I am trying to teach you” my response was quite different.

Why the fuck do I HAVE to represent the Masculine?

I don’t deny the Masculine: I love him, I respect him, I honor him, I cherish him.

We live in a world that is male dominated; yes, I am “one of those” who believes in the Patriarchy.

On top of living in a male dominated world, the Left Hand Path is a male dominated community.

Why can’t there be some Feminine energy up in here without it being a huge fucking problem?

I post sex positive articles, how to re-wild ourselves, and embracing the Dark Feminine and get shit for it…

From men…

All. The. Time.

I embrace my sexuality, and my inner whore. I embrace my inner virgin, too. I embrace all aspects of my being and I will not apologize for that. Is that not what being a Luciferian is about?

I will not apologize that my individuality bothers some people so much; I will not apologize for breaking barriers in a world that wishes to confine me to a cage full of labels and expectations.

I will not apologize for being true to who I am.

I am a beautiful, delicate, divinely feminine being, and I walk the Left Hand Path; that IS okay.

So, you stay in your lane, and I’ll stay in mine, being all Goddess like and shit.

Rant: Kim Davis, Willful Ignorance, and Hypocrisy

“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that ‘my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”

Isaac Asimov

I have been chomping at the bit to say my piece about the now notorious Kim Davis, the Rowan County (Kentucky) clerk who refused to hand out marriage certificates to same sex couples using the excuse of religious freedom, and that she “didn’t want the wrath of God to be put on her” and “she doesn’t want to go to Hell”. Meanwhile she has been married 4 times, so that is 3 failed marriages, and has two children out of wedlock; shouldn’t point fingers with dirty hands, Mrs. Davis.

I try not to pay too much attention to the conservative Christians these days, they are of abundance and I avoid them like the plague; their ignorance alone makes me want leave this planet and relocate somewhere with no religion, with no humans, actually.

I have decided to write about this issue because whenever politicians get involved I pay attention. Since I was a child politics and philosophy have been passions of mine. I especially love having debates, not just about the politicians themselves but the issues at hand, and how socioeconomic status is everything in this world. Illusions, all of it but fascinating to me nonetheless.

Democracy was a shit show in Rome, and it is (at times) a shit show now. Instead of battling it out in some bloody war (literal or metaphorical because they knew how to debate (or blackmail) their counsel) on the sands and pebbles of Ancient Rome, our politicians battle it out on the mainstream, and social media platforms with no filters, no class, and no fucking clue about what the everyday American is facing, or cares about. They no longer keep their craziness hidden, it appears to be on display for all to see. Politicians are owned puppets, and for the love of all that is holy and unholy I hope that people pay attention to Bernie Sanders and the things that man has to say because he is our ticket out of this mess.

I really want to know when it became ok for our politicians to jump in and save a woman who defied Federal Law and are calling her a hero because she was “victim to Christian persecution” (Mike Huckabee). Even the right wing militia group known as the “Oath keepers” have been “Deployed” to protect Mrs. Davis.

Man, imagine if there were an armed group of Satanists going to protect someone. Would law enforcement then jump in? Since when is it ok to have a rogue, armed militia running around with guns? Oh, because, ‘Merica.

There have even been comparisons made between Davis and Rosa Parks, and that is just an insult to Parks. I’m not even going to go there.

I know that myself, and many of you do not take the GOP seriously, and WE can laugh it off, the problem is there are millions of people out there who cannot. There are millions of people out there who lack critical thinking skills, and any ability to think rationally or logically.

The media force feeds the lies to the masses in heaping piles of bullshit.

The Supreme Court of the United States of America ruled that same sex marriage is law (which should have never been illegal or an issue to begin with, but, as always, “religion”). In case anyone is confused as to what this means, let me break it down for you: SCOTUS is the law of this land.

Period.

Let’s not mention the fact that she (Davis) works for the Government, as a county clerk she is their employee, essentially. It does not matter though if she is, or is not an employee of the Government, she defied Federal Law.

What if a Muslim defied Federal Law, any Federal Law in protest of his/her religion, would it play out the same? What if a Witch, Atheist, Pagan, Heathen, Druid etc. etc. did the same, what would be the outcome then? Why is it only Christians defying laws in the name of religious rights?

Let’s ask that again…

WHY IS IT ONLY CHRISTIANS DEFYING LAWS IN THE NAME OF RELIGIOUS RIGHTS?

As Americans we have the freedom to worship (or not worship) as we wish, hundreds of millions of people in this world are not afforded such a luxury; Christians are granted so many luxuries, but they still scream about how they are persecuted.

Correct me if I am wrong here but, when I look around at the issues we are facing as a country, even the world, and the real persecutions going on, the real finger pointing and judgments are all coming from the Christian arena. I enjoy very much how Conservative Christians say that Islamic extremists are the real threat to America but they don’t want to address the extremism of the Westboro Baptist Church, or tea partiers like Cruz, Huckabee, Rubio, Paul (more libertarian)  and Ryan because “God”. Duh.

I guess it’s just their God? Man, he sounds like a real dick.

Ignorance is one thing, it is the root of a lot of our country’s problems but willful ignorance is far worse.

When you decide you do not want to think outside of the box, and are not willing to adjust your mentality, or perception to the changing world, we have a problem as a collective unit. I am not suggesting that people give up their religion, their belief or anything of the sort; that is not my place to do so, again we are free to worship as we wish, but we need to remove religion from Government.

We need to remove the divisions created by religion, and the lies that have been told. It is passed time that people realize the bible is an allegory, it is a book of stories based on Pagan traditions, and Babylonian, Sumerian and Egyptian historical figures, written by a King and translated by many; it is not the “Word of God”.

Let’s not even mention how many versions of the bible existed before the New Testament. I will link you to some really good resources at the end, in case you ever want to throw verses in a Christian’s face.

You have to fight fire with fire, right?

The homosexual couples who went to that clerk’s office to get their marriage certificates and were denied are just as American as Mrs. Davis is, regardless of how stupid, closed minded or insane she may be; this fact was and is missed by Davis and many others like her. They want to scream patriotism but only when it is in their favor, only when it is in the name of their God.

You have the right to free speech but you must face the consequences of your words, and actions. You have the right to worship as you wish, but not when it infringes on another, and definitely not in defiance of Federal Law. You have lots of rights, Mrs. Davis but you forgot that so does every other American.

How Christian like to be so goddamned hateful, judgmental, and selfish.

Fight for Equality: A Luciferian’s Take on The Satanic Temple

Larkin

Image: Larkin, aka larkin-art, DeviantArt

“Consequently, if you believe God made Satan, you must realize that all Satan’s power comes from God and so that Satan is simply God’s child, and that we are God’s children also. There are no children of Satan, really.”

Anne Rice

My track record with the Satanist community is iffy, at best, so to find myself here writing about an issue that affects the entire Occult world, but specifically Satanists is kind of surreal for me. I want to take this time to say, I do not have ANYTHING against the Satanic community, they are my Brothers and Sisters of the Left Hand Path, however, it has been my personal experience with the majority I have encountered that they can be completely amazing, or complete douchebags–there is no in-between. I say this having some really close Satanist friends, whom I enjoy debating, and joking with all the time.

To be honest, there really is not much of a difference between Luciferianism and Satanism. One core Philosophy is almost a mirror of the other and both groups fall victim to the same reaction of the ignorant masses when asked about our belief systems; half the time I can’t even finish the word Luciferian before a gasp, eye roll, or prayer is started.

I guess it’s time to tell you the story.

It was 4 am, and after a horrid night of tossing, turning, and Astral traveling galore, my cat decided it was time that she be fed. My cat, Bean, and I have this love hate relationship, and at 4 am it is absolutely more hate than love.

After feeding her, and her brothers, I found my way back to bed and grabbed my phone, as any phone addict/fb admin does. After that I checked what was trending on Fb, this is a weird habit of mine; I follow the trending topics daily. I don’t watch the news, and I restrict what is put into my head from my environment, for me the trending section is a way to see what’s important, or at least what my peers think is important. I find myself often shaking my head at the popularity of one topic over another, how Hollywood seems to always take the cake, even when world disasters, and/or political events are occurring.

I could rant about that all day, so before I get too off track, let’s go back.

I check to see what was trending, and notice that The Satanic Temple is on the list, I click and there it was in all its beautiful glory:

‘Satanic Temple wishes to erect statue of Baphomet next to Ten Commandments on the Capitol grounds in Arkansas’

What the what?!

I read the article, and was filled with such joy that finally there is a group willing to go against the Christians (and win) for religious equality. I find it so amusing that Christians scream about “religious intolerance” every day, but the focus is always on Christians, this entire country is based around Christianity, even though it was never meant to be.

Fun fact: It was not until 1956 that the “under God” portion was added to the pledge of allegiance. Our ‘founding Fathers’ were Masons, sure, but they were very clear that this is not, and never was intended to be a Christian nation. Masonry may be based upon Christian text, but the original Masons were the definition of Occult (secret, hidden) and much knowledge can be found along the Masonry path. I have both Mason’s, and Eastern Star’s within my own family.

As I began to read the comments attached to the article, it was a bloody battle and the Satanists were losing. The thread itself was filled with prayers, and people saying that they would destroy the statue if it was put on state grounds. Can you imagine the outcry, and civil war that would break out if a Christian statue was destroyed, or even threatened to be destroyed?

What makes one statue more important than another? Why is one statue allowed, on Government property, mind you, but not the other? Why is it that when a Christian is offended it is to be taken seriously, but if I as a Luciferian am offended by religious text/symbolism/art on state/federal grounds, it is not taken as seriously? Am I less of an American? Do my family’s tax dollars matter less? Why is my voice silenced? Why do they fear me?

Religious equality does not just work when it is in favor of Christianity, in case anyone out there was wondering.

Satanists do not wish to convert you, or your children, the point being made is that there is a separation of church and state for a reason, but since that line wants to be blurred, or erased for the Christians, it has to be blurred, or erased for Satanists, and any other group who wishes to challenge it.

I say again, this is not a Christian nation.

I also saw more comments than I could count with people who think Satanism is Devil Worship.

Ok. Look, there is only so much stupid I can handle. You have the internet at your fucking fingertips (like what I did there?) and you still remain ignorant.

I want to make a few points: regardless of what the pictures of certain rituals, rites and especially the Black Mass look like, Satanism is not now, nor has it ever been “Devil Worship”. In fact, a majority of Satanists believe in Satan as a metaphor, and the story itself an allegory for life. There are theistic and atheistic Satanists, and those titles are pretty self-explanatory. They use the symbol of Baphomet (no matter how terrifying some may find it) because Baphomet represents equality, and duality (balance).

But, these people wouldn’t know that because they don’t care to look outside of their box, or shall we say their book. They refuse to live, and let live, always worried about another person and their belief system.

Believing in Satan, an energy or deity, does not take away from your God, any God, or lack of God; one belief does not negate another, one does not trump another. I may be anti-religion, but other people are entitled to believe how they want, as long as those beliefs are not pushed upon me, and my life dictated according to them; which is exactly what has happened since, well, forever.

We are all Americans, we are all free, and we are all equal–THAT is what the founding fathers wanted us to remember, wanted us to build this country on.

Instead our country was built on the backs of slaves and Indigenous People of North America (Native Americans), our soil soaked in blood, our money tainted, and our Government infiltrated with religion.

These Religious zealots want to scream about patriotism, and how the founding fathers would be “rolling in their graves at these statues of ‘the Devil’”.

They would be rolling in their graves for many reasons, and I can say with almost certainty that their first line of business would not be a statue of Baphomet.

Repeat after me: This is not a Christian nation.

I leave with you some quotes and some links, enjoy:

“If I could conceive that the general government might ever be so administered as to render the liberty of conscience insecure, I beg you will be persuaded, that no one would be more zealous than myself to establish effectual barriers against the horrors of spiritual tyranny, and every species of religious persecution.” -Founding Father George Washington, letter to the United Baptist Chamber of Virginia, May 1789

“Of all the animosities which have existed among mankind, those which are caused by a difference of sentiments in religion appear to be the most inveterate and distressing, and ought to be deprecated. I was in hopes that the enlightened and liberal policy, which has marked the present age, would at least have reconciled Christians of every denomination so far that we should never again see the religious disputes carried to such a pitch as to endanger the peace of society.” -Founding Father George Washington, letter to Edward Newenham, October 20, 1792

“We have abundant reason to rejoice that in this Land the light of truth and reason has triumphed over the power of bigotry and superstition… In this enlightened Age and in this Land of equal liberty it is our boast, that a man’s religious tenets will not forfeit the protection of the Laws, nor deprive him of the right of attaining and holding the highest Offices that are known in the United States.” -Founding Father George Washington, letter to the members of the New Church in Baltimore, January 27, 1793

“The United States of America have exhibited, perhaps, the first example of governments erected on the simple principles of nature; and if men are now sufficiently enlightened to disabuse themselves of artifice, imposture, hypocrisy, and superstition, they will consider this event as an era in their history. Although the detail of the formation of the American governments is at present little known or regarded either in Europe or in America, it may hereafter become an object of curiosity. It will never be pretended that any persons employed in that service had interviews with the gods, or were in any degree under the influence of Heaven, more than those at work upon ships or houses, or laboring in merchandise or agriculture; it will forever be acknowledged that these governments were contrived merely by the use of reason and the senses.” -John Adams, “A Defence of the Constitutions of Government of the United States of America” 1787-1788

“The Government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion.” -1797 Treaty of Tripoli signed by Founding Father John Adams

“Thirteen governments [of the original states] thus founded on the natural authority of the people alone, without a pretence of miracle or mystery, and which are destined to spread over the northern part of that whole quarter of the globe, are a great point gained in favor of the rights of mankind.” -Founding Father John Adams, “A Defence of the Constitutions of Government of the United States of America” (1787-88)
